High-Key
High-key is a photographic term to describe photographs that are overall light with little contrast. Such images usually suggest a pleasant, happy mood. Such was the warm autumn day I photographed this beautiful stallion. There was a soft quality to the sunlight. The day was warm but not hot. The horse was strong, healthy, and confident. The composition within my camera’s viewfinder was suggesting a spiritual depiction of something heavenly.
