Blinders
Eyes are sometimes called the “windows into the soul”. Blinders are sometimes put on domesticated horses to allow them to only see what their rider wants them to see. But in this image of a wild horse, the dangling mane obscures our view of the horse’s eye, not allowing us to see into “the window of his soul”. Indeed, we really don’t understand the life’s journey of a wild horse.
