A mid-winter storm adds a foot of snow to the slopes below “Twin Peaks” in the Wasatch Mountains. I find the scale of the landscape to be imposing. Huge fir trees look to be nothing but miniatures. Upwards of three thousand vertical feet traverse this view. I stare at the mountain and wish to be young again and climb the slopes.
