I don’t believe we need to go to exquisite remote locations to see beautiful scenes. Many artistic displays are all around us if we learn to look for them. Visual elements of art include line, form, shape, texture, value, and contrast. As I observed the natural light and background, and positioned the camera appropriately, this collection of dried common teasel became an aesthetic image that gladdens my psyche.
