When I hike in the mountains, I constantly admire the Aspen trees. As their leaves quiver in the wind, it is a song to my ears. Their trunks sweep heavenward so majestically! They are not solitary. They grow in groves, the trees are interconnected, genetic clones of their parent tree. So they are considered one of the largest organisms on the planet.
